Radon & Mold Certified

$10,000 Honor Guarantee, Backed by InterNACHI

Every year or even more often you go to the doctor for a routine physical (checkup).  You often go to the dentist to be sure everything is ok and to prevent any unforeseen problems.  You even bring your car in for routine maintenance.  You also do all of these things for all the members in your family, and even pets, so why not your home.

When you purchased your home most likely you had a professional home inspection and that was a good thing.  My question to you is how long ago was that? Houses change everyday just like people do.  Structures settle, appliances get used and worn, caulking shrinks and cracks, patios and driveways crack, all kinds of things can and do change within your home and need a checkup so you can nip a major repair in the butt before it happens.  Well you get the point, it is a very small price to pay for your homes well being and you and your families safety.

A Home Safety Checkup is similar but not the same as a full home inspection that you probably had when you purchased your home.  A Home Safety Checkup concentrates more on maintenance and safety issues.  We also provide you with important information on why it is so important to have these home safety checkups on a regular (yearly) basis.  Our concern is two fold, first and foremost is safety issues and concerns for you and your family, and second is to save you money on repairs by catching and identifying potential safety and maintenance issues before they become major and expensive problems.

All homes change on a daily basis.  New homes settle the most after approximately 3-4 years after construction, and like all homes new or older building structures are ever changing.  This being said all homes new or old should and need to be Professionally Inspected and have maintenance/safety checkups performed every few years if not more often (yearly).

The difference between a Home Safety Checkup and a Home Inspection ?
•A home safety checkup is a more limited inspection than the State Home Inspection. An annual maintenance inspection would be limited to describe the condition of the particular systems and it would compare the present conditions to previous inspections.

•A home safety checkup is not to be used for use in Real-Estate transactions.

•The Home Maintenance & Safety Checkup includes the inspection of Grounds, Exterior, Foundation, Roofing, Attic, Plumbing, Heating/Cooling/Electric, Wall and Ceiling Conditions, Garage, Kitchen, Bathrooms, Safety Components (smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, handrails etc.

•We also include relevant information pertaining to your home maintenance and safety.

•This service is also a good check-in/Check-out inspections for renters or landlords in both houses, apartments and condos.
